Fearless Florals®  is a step-by-step approach to painting florals in acrylics that is full of demos, insightful exercises and lots of practical tips. Each video module builds upon the last increasing your confidence and equipping you to paint florals you'll love.

You will receive six modules with over eight and a half hours of video. There is no set day or time for the course. You'll receive a module a week until you have all six to work at your own pace. And you will have access for TWO years to the video tutorials so you can review the lessons as often as you would like. You'll also be invited to six live Q&A sessions where you can ask me questions.

Getting Started

FOCUS: In this module you'll learn all about the supplies we'll be using in the course including many of my favorites. We'll also talk about our path for the next several weeks. FOCUS: This module is all about color. You'll learn how to set up your palette and make acrylic look like oil. You'll get really comfortable mixing color with some mixing exercises that are always a hit. And you'll learn so many color mixing secrets.

FOCUS: The secret to a good painting and where you define your style is in the prep. In this module you'll learn how to set up a floral still life from selecting flowers, to arranging a bouquet you actually want to paint and lighting. You'll also play with composition and capture the color atmosphere with mini paintings.

Become Fearless

FOCUS: Now it is time to become fearless by painting small and fast. You’ll learn why, what and how to tone a panel. You'll also hear about the benefits of starting small and why timing your paintings is a good idea. You'll warm up with some focused color mixing then you'll paint timed florals. I'll demo everything first.

Going Bigger

FOCUS: A good way to keep a larger painting loose is to start with a small painting. In this module you will learn how to use a small painting to plan your larger paintings and keep them fresh. I'll do two demos explaining each step. You'll paint a small floral then take the small painting larger. You'll also learn about painting glass and why negative space is key.
